Our Daily Devotion For 10th May 2025 Message
Title: Strength in Stillness
Scripture:
“In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.” — Isaiah 30:15 (NIV)
Reflection:
In a culture that glorifies constant activity and noise, stillness can feel unproductive—even uncomfortable. But God’s wisdom often contradicts human logic. He says your strength is not found in striving, but in stillness. Not in panic, but in peace.
Sometimes we fight battles that aren’t ours to fight. We run ourselves weary trying to fix, manage, and manipulate outcomes. But God invites us into a deeper place—one where silence becomes sacred, and trust becomes strength.
Today, take a moment to quiet your soul. Listen more than you speak. Rest more than you rush. The victory you seek may not be found in more effort, but in more surrender.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me the power of stillness in Your presence. Help me to rest in Your promises and trust in Your timing. I surrender the urge to control and choose instead to be quiet and confident in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that I am not driven by chaos, but led by peace. My strength is renewed in the stillness of God’s presence. I will not be moved by fear or hurry—I will walk in divine rest, and in that rest, I will find supernatural strength!
